This section of the Garden of Gethsemane is generally a mess now, often overgrown with a lot of trash and litter around. I found this clear spot with the Temple Mount and Dome of the Rock in the background as the light was falling one evening. It’s an interesting juxtaposition of one of the holiest sites in the Muslim religion and the place of such historic significance to Jesus‘ life here on earth.
